Define and implement controls for production process and product.
Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment. Includes working closely with Manufacturing Engineers.
Develops knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; builds awareness of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Maintain and improve process documentation active (Control Plans, PFMEAs, Methods, BiQ forms) and enforced in assigned area to ensure consistent quality and sustainability.
Implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects, alone or as part of a multifunctional team, to drive customer satisfaction and business productivity
Apply standard engineering techniques to assigned tasks and ensure that specific goals are met in terms of quality, quantity, and timeliness in order to meet goals
Lead 4Ds and 8Ds problem solving for internal and external non-conformances. Lead the team in the usage of the problem solving tools to define the root cause and countermeasures.
Manage Quality KPIs for the assigned cell, utilize this data to drive resolution in order to meet targets and goals.
Work with Design Lead Engineer to timely disposition non conforming parts on the line.
Provide support to operations to increase First Time Yield and reduce defect rate.

Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited university or college (or a minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in quality)
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience or relevant intern or co-op experience
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of GE systems
Prior Gas Turbine component experience and knowledge preferred
Prior leadership experience
