Job Description

The Engineer will support the design, development, and execution of Accessory ﬂuid systems and mechanical packages for new unit projects.

Key Responsibilities

Support the design and development of Accessory ﬂuid systems and mechanical packages for new unit projects.
Prioritize "Safety by Design" in all activities by identifying potential hazards and implementing solutions that adhere to stringent environmental, health and safety (EHS) standards.
Assist in creating system architectures, engineering layouts, equipment speciﬁcations, technical reports, and design documentation.
Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support system design, equipment sizing, and performance veriﬁcation using relevant digital analysis and simulation tools.
Support the preparation and review of engineering drawings, schematics, and design deliverables.
Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, customer requirements, and established design practices.
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into engineering solutions.
Support execution of engineering activities while meeting quality, schedule, and cost objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Project Engineering.
Assist in resolving technical issues during design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning phases.
Support the application of Lean principles to streamline engineering workﬂows and enhance project eﬃciency.
Support the development and maintenance of engineering standards, best practices, and design guidelines.
Document lessons learned and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Participate in innovation and continuous improvement eﬀorts to enhance product quality, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

The required work location is Greenville, SC (relocation assistance is available)
