Job Description

Lead and coordinate protection and control engineering activities, ensuring the successful execution of projects and the reliability of electrical substation systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of protection and control engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment;
Coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of protection and control projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards;
Provide technical expertise in the design, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and implementation of protection and control systems;
Partner with project managers, system operators, and maintenance teams to optimize system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency;
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating existing systems, implementing enhancements, and staying current with industry standards and emerging technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation & Control Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
Solid experience with electrical substations, including field equipment, instrumentation, and protection & control systems;
Knowledge of Brazilian regulations and industry standards related to substation automation and protection & control systems, including ONS modules;
Advanced English and Spanish communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment;
Availability to travel up to 30% of the time.
