EHS Portfolio Lead - Japan

Job Description Summary
Reporting into the APAC ONW EHS Manager Projects, the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Portfolio Lead within GE Vernova’s Onshore Wind team. You’ll support the safe and sustainable delivery of renewable energy during ITO/OTR, Premobilization, Mobilization, Construction and Commissioning activities by developing, implementing and maintaining the GE Vernova EHS systems and programs across multiple wind farm construction Projects. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant local / National legislation, ISO standards (14001 & 45001), and internal management systems.
You will be a required to travel between Project sites and to provide expert technical EHS support to sites remotely where necessary. It will be essential to build rapport with key site stakeholders (site managers, clients), and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to proactively manage risk reduction and mitigation processes, drive continuous improvement and develop trust, all while upholding our commitment to sustainability and safety.
