As the Manufacturing Engineer you will drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost reduction, and continuous improvement within an assigned area. This role applies Lean Manufacturing principles and supports production through hands-on problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.
Implement and sustain Lean/continuous improvement principles in the department
Participate in productivity and cost-reduction efforts to improve process and lower cost
Develop safe, ergonomic processes; work with supervision and maintenance to correct unsafe conditions
Analyze operations and equipment utilization to maximize quality and output
Support production builds, working closely with Production Supervisors, Materials, and Design Engineers to resolve issues
Coordinate new product introductions — partnering with Design Engineering and the production floor, establishing shop routes, and evaluating capacity needs
Provide technical support and monitor critical processes
Provide backup support for department foreman or scheduler as needed
Support ISO9001 compliance efforts

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
Solid internship or co-op experience
