Job Description
The Staff Infrastructure Engineer at Gatik is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, vehicle infrastructure, and deployment systems to support the company's autonomous fleet, ensuring reliable data collection, software deployment, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable ETL data pipelines for fleet data ingestion and presentation
- Design and implement deployment solutions for onboard vehicle infrastructure and AV software with minimal downtime
- Collaborate with teams to develop scalable CI pipelines for AV software development, testing, and release
- Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions to manage environments supporting operations at customer sites
- Coordinate and execute deployments of vehicle infrastructure and software to new customer locations
- Develop and manage simulation software deployment and integrate scenario-based testing into CI pipelines
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in a similar infrastructure engineering role.
- Proficiency with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and related tools e.g., Docker Compose, Kaniko.
- Experience deploying to Kubernetes and managing packages via Helm.
- Knowledge of relational and time-series databases e.g., Postgres, TimescaleDB, InfluxDB.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools e.g., Argo, Airflow.
- Proven track record managing upgrades and rollbacks of customer-facing SaaS environments.
- Scripting expertise in Python and Bash.
- Experience with configuration management tools e.g., Ansible.

Salary Range: 180,000-260,000 USD
