Job Description
The Operations Recruiter at Gatik is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment of Class 3-7 autonomous vehicle operators, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the scaling of the company's fleet operations through effective talent acquisition and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVOs), including sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
- Partner with Fleet Operations and external vendors to meet hiring goals and timelines.
- Pre-screen candidates for compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Coordinate candidate interviews, background checks, drug screens, DOT physicals, and onboarding logistics.
- Promote Gatik's AVO program to potential candidates through outreach and relationship building.
- Track and process candidates using Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Analyze recruiting data to optimize the hiring process.
- Support onboarding of contract hires and serve as a brand ambassador for Gatik.
Requirements
- Three years of experience in high-volume recruiting, ideally within transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
- Strong understanding of DOT and FMCSA compliance requirements.
- Proven success managing multiple requisitions and meeting aggressive hiring targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative, relationship-first approach.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, or similar.
- Prior experience supporting both direct and contract hiring is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) or equivalent practical experience.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range: $40/hr - $65/hr
