Job Description
As the need for nuclear energy grows, the future couldn’t be brighter.
Key Responsibilities
Under general supervision, provides a variety of secretarial and administrative support to a department or group of professionals. Assignments are non-routine in nature and usually require originality and ingenuity. Exercises some discretion and independent judgment and is capable of analyzing complex requests. Duties may involve access to confidential information. Initially support IB Engineering supervisors and staff and develop into support for VP and his direct staff.
Provide Calendar Management for VP and Direct staff.
Make complex travel arrangements; Create itineraries for travel.
Organize and support routine staff meetings, to include preparing presentations and taking meeting minutes.
Support more complex meetings and events, such as routine all-hands meetings, teambuilding and recognition events.
Create and edit technical documents and weekly/monthly reports.
Reconcile and submit expense reports for VP and staff. May also approve expense reports on behalf of staff.
Submit and approve timecards on behalf of VP and staff.
Assist with new hire orientation.
Process Purchase Order Requests.
Adapts procedures, processes, tools, equipment and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position.
Provides support in opening and closing cost centers, cost center budgets and job cost set-up.
Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of administrative problems and issues.
Anticipates and/or identify needs and issues within the organization and proactively initiate or facilitate solutions.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent education.
Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules and files efficiently.
Prioritize tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
Ability to handle unexpected issues and find effective solutions quickly.
Advanced PC based application skills such as MS Office, experience with managagin the calendar for direc manager and direct staff.
Good analytical ability, problem identification/problem resolution skills, and organization.
Excercise discretion with confidential matter.
Benefits & Perks
Salary: $46,000 - $60,000 per year, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
