The IT Staff Auditor at Forbright Bank is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of IT systems, controls, and processes, focusing on risk assessment, cybersecurity, data integrity, and regulatory compliance, while collaborating with senior leadership to ensure industry standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate the effectiveness of IT systems, controls, and processes across the bank
Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to assess technology risks
Develop and execute audit programs focused on IT operations
Review the adequacy of IT controls and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Requirements
Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in IT audit, information security, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with up to 3 years of experience for entry-level roles or more for highly experienced candidates.
Develop and execute audit programs focused on IT operations, controls, and processes across banking systems.
Evaluate the effectiveness of IT systems, controls, and processes to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Assess risks related to technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
Review the adequacy of IT controls and ensure their alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to identify and assess IT-related risks.
Communicate findings clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to relevant stakeholders.
Operate technology and office machinery such as computers, printers, and scanners, and remain in a stationary position for extended periods as required.
Use hands and fingers to operate computer monitors and other office equipment with visual acuity.
Work primarily in an office setting, with the possibility of remote work at management discretion, and be able to perform duties in a hybrid work environment requiring 1-2 days per week in the office.
Maintain flexibility to perform situationally assigned duties outside of the standard job description to support organizational efficiency.
Possess a basic understanding of IT audit standards, cybersecurity principles, and regulatory frameworks relevant to banking and financial services.
