Job Description

The Director, Servicing Collections is responsible for overseeing the performance of the loan portfolio throughout its lifecycle, developing strategies for collections and default recoveries, managing vendor relationships, and driving operational improvements to ensure portfolio outcomes, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the performance of the loan portfolio throughout the servicing lifecycle.
Develop and execute strategies for primary servicing, early and late-stage collections, and default recoveries.
Manage vendor strategy and governance, ensuring third-party servicers meet performance targets.
Drive operational improvements using data analysis and performance metrics.
Influence internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve portfolio outcomes.

Requirements

Experience in overseeing the performance of a loan portfolio across the full servicing lifecycle, including strategy development and execution oversight.
Ability to lead and manage primary servicing, early and late-stage collections, and default recoveries with a focus on portfolio outcomes, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Experience in leading vendor strategy and governance, including holding third-party servicers accountable to performance targets.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver superior results.
Ability to operate in an office setting, with flexibility for remote work at management discretion.
Proficiency in using technology, including operating computers, printers, scanners, and other office machinery.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly communicate with others.
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while performing job duties.
Flexibility to perform situationally assigned duties outside of the standard job description to ensure organizational efficiency.
