Job Description

The Senior Legal Counsel, Supply Chain will serve as a strategic legal partner to Fluence's global procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and operations teams.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
7+ years of legal experience, including substantial experience supporting commercial transactions.
Significant experience drafting and negotiating complex supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or commercial agreements.
Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles, including: Warranty structures Indemnification Risk allocation Limitation of liability Intellectual property Supplier performance management
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
In-house legal experience supporting manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, industrial, energy, technology, or infrastructure businesses.
Experience with global supply chains and international commercial transactions.
Familiarity with battery systems, electronics, power systems, renewable energy, energy storage, advanced manufacturing, or related industries.
Experience advising on domestic content, local content, trade compliance, or government incentive programs.
Strong business acumen and ability to provide practical, risk-balanced legal advice.
