Fluence is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support and manage a broad range of legal matters across our European operations.

Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including EPC, supply, procurement, service, and other customer and vendor contracts.
Provide legal support throughout the customer lifecycle, from sales and contract negotiations to project delivery and after-sales services.
Advise internal stakeholders on contractual obligations, commercial risks, and legal implications of business decisions.
Support the management of contractual relationships with customers, suppliers, and other business partners.
Assist with product compliance and regulatory matters relevant to energy storage projects.
Contribute to international corporate initiatives and support a variety of general corporate legal matters across Europe.
Review existing contractual arrangements and recommend amendments, extensions, or risk mitigation measures where necessary.
Partner with business teams to develop practical, commercially focused legal solutions.
Drive process improvements and contribute to the ongoing development and effectiveness of the Legal function.
Ensure legal activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in a European jurisdiction.
Minimum of 5 years of professional legal experience, gained either in-house or within a law firm environment.
Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating complex commercial and project-based agreements.
Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, industrial, construction, energy, renewables, or technology projects.
Strong understanding of contract risk allocation and contract management principles.
Ability to assess legal risks and provide practical, business-oriented advice to stakeholders.
Experience working in an international and cross-functional environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commitment to ethics, compliance, and professional integrity.
Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent legal qualification required.
