Job Description

Requirements
- A high school diploma or the equivalent is required.
- The ability to pass the Construction and Skilled Trades Test (CAST) and the physical agility assessment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to obtain and or maintain a valid CDL within six (6) months. Candidates who currently hold a CDL-A are preferred.
- Mechanical/Technical experience is required. Splicing experience is preferred.
- Successful candidate must have the ability to complete the requirements of Splicer T.M.P. Training Merit Progression and to qualify as a Splicer at the end of the training period.
- Must have the ability to work emergency and planned overtime when the need exists.
- Must have a work history that demonstrates safe work habits.
- Bargaining unit employees under the TEAL contract will be given first consideration. In addition, this position is being posted internally and externally.
