Job Description
Assist in organizing and supporting the Esri User Conference by managing registrations, communicating with attendees and sponsors, processing data, and coordinating various event activities to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for all participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Process registrations and payments for attendees and sponsors
- Manage submissions for the map gallery and presentations
- Communicate with presenters, attendees, sponsors, and staff via phone and email
- Organize and input data related to event activities, materials, and schedules
- Update internal and external event resources
- Assist with various event-related tasks such as registration, exhibits, sponsorships, scheduling, map and awards submissions, and food and beverage coordination
Requirements
- One year of experience working in events, or the hospitality industry
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work with a variety of online systems
- Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy for analysis and research of crucial data
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills due to heavy phone work and customer service with users and business partners
- Availability to work on weekends and travel as needed
- Ability to type at least 45 words per minute
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality, or a related field
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship is not available)

Estimated base pay range of $21 USD per hour
