Job Description
A geospatial solutions specialist who collaborates with customers to design, implement, and support enterprise GIS workflows using Esri technology, helping clients leverage location intelligence to make informed decisions across various industries, including defense and intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers for innovative Esri technology solutions
- Identify the value of location within customer workflows and recommend strategies to optimize their investment in Esri's platform
- Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of customer staff
- Collaborate with customer IT organizations to align technical objectives and business goals with Esri’s technology
Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
- Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform Desktop, Server, and Online
- Proven experience leveraging Esri’s software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs
- Pro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Intelligence domain
- Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical peers, project managers, and/or customers
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills
- US citizenship and willingness and ability to maintain a US Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field
