Job Description
A geospatial solutions specialist who collaborates with customers to design, implement, and optimize GIS workflows and enterprise solutions using Esri technology, supporting decision-making and strategic objectives across various industries, including defense and intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with customers to identify, design, and certify GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform
- Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers
- Recommend strategies, architectures, and solutions for GIS implementation and migration
- Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to diverse customer organizations
- Collaborate with customer IT teams to align technical objectives with business goals
Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
- Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform Desktop, Server, and Online
- Proven experience leveraging Esri’s software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs
- Pro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Intelligence domain
- Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical peers, project managers, and/or customers
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills
- US citizenship and willingness and ability to maintain a US Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field
