Job Description
A geospatial solutions specialist who collaborates with customers to design, implement, and support enterprise GIS workflows using Esri technology, primarily supporting defense and intelligence sectors to leverage location intelligence for better decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with customers to identify, design, and certify GIS workflows on the ArcGIS platform
- Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices for Esri technology solutions
- Identify the value of location within customer workflows to enhance decision-making and ROI
- Recommend strategies, architectures, and solutions, and assist with implementation and migration planning
- Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to diverse customer organizations
- Collaborate with customer IT teams to align technical objectives and business goals with Esri solutions
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities related to GIS solutions and workflows.
- Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform, including Desktop, Server, and Online.
- Proven experience leveraging Esri’s software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs.
- Proactively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Defense and Intel domain.
- Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders, including project managers and customers.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
- U.S. citizenship and the willingness and ability to maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field.
