Technical Consultant – ArcGIS (Mission-Focused)

• Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform • Provide platform configuration guidance and best practices to customers regarding innovative solutions using Esri technology and content to help them make better decisions • Identify the value of location within customer workflows and drive substantial return on their investment in Esri's enterprise platform and services • Recommend relevant strategies, architectures, and solutions and work with customers to prepare implementation and migration strategies • Present complex GIS technical demonstrations to various levels of staff in a diverse range of customer organizations • Collaborate with customer IT organizations to align their technical objectives and business goals with Esri's technology enterprise

• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities • Professional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform (Desktop, Server, and Online) • Proven experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIs • Pro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Intelligence domain • Proven experience with GIS workflow automation patterns • Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical peers, project managers, and/or customers • Exceptional interpersonal, written/verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills • US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility • Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field • Master's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field • Programming and scripting experience with Python • Domain experience around Defense and Intelligence content workflows • CompTIA Security + certification • Experience with current technology implementation patterns, including service-oriented and cloud computing architecture • Understanding of IT integration concepts such as databases, web services, webhooks, mobile devices configurations, web browsers, IT system architecture concepts #LI-SS2 #LI-Onsite

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $84,240 — $142,480 USD
