Job Description
This role involves designing and implementing integration solutions between GIS and BIM systems to enhance asset design, construction, and operation processes, utilizing cloud-based platforms, APIs, and geospatial technologies within a collaborative software engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement integration between ArcGIS geospatial cloud and cloud-based BIM systems
- Develop RESTful APIs to connect ArcGIS with BIM platforms such as Autodesk Docs, Autodesk Platform Services, and Autodesk Forma
- Create Typescript components and widgets compatible with ArcGIS Experience Builder
- Develop geoprocessing tools to automate data linking and migration between BIM and GIS
- Communicate with industry developers to establish best practices for extending ArcGIS to AEC and BIM industries
- Design real-time and batch data pipelines for synchronizing BIM data with GIS
- Construct micro-service pipelines for managing large BIM datasets
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of software product development experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing cloud infrastructure, backend services, and data pipelines.
- Exceptional understanding of at least two of the following languages and tools: TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, Bootstrap, React, Angular, or extensive experience with C , .NET, and/or Python.
- Knowledge of Agile software engineering processes and proficiency with git.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
