Job Description
This role involves deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting advanced ArcGIS Enterprise systems across various environments, working closely with clients to optimize GIS workflows and ensure successful implementation for high-profile organizations such as the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure complex ArcGIS environments across various platforms and architectures
- Plan and execute content migration between different ArcGIS deployments
- Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments, focusing on platform components such as storage, networking, and security
- Collaborate with customers and partners to design and certify GIS workflows on the ArcGIS platform
- Support and optimize enterprise ArcGIS systems to meet customer service level agreements
Requirements
- 12 years of professional experience supporting similar responsibilities related to deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and migrating advanced ArcGIS deployments in various environments.
- Experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise ArcGIS or other comparable IT systems including desktop, server, and online platforms.
- Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, PowerShell, Javascript, or C.
- Familiarity with network concepts and topics such as domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, and load-balancing.
- Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- U.S. citizenship and the willingness and ability to maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field.
