Job Description
This role involves deploying, optimizing, and supporting advanced ArcGIS Enterprise solutions for defense and intelligence clients, working closely with customers to design, migrate, troubleshoot, and integrate GIS systems across various environments and architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure complex ArcGIS environments across various platforms and architectures
- Plan and execute content migration between different ArcGIS deployments
- Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments related to platform components such as storage, networking, and security
- Collaborate with customers and partners to design and certify GIS workflows on the ArcGIS platform
- Support and optimize enterprise ArcGIS systems to meet service level agreements
Requirements
- 12 years of professional experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities such as deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and migrating enterprise GIS systems, specifically ArcGIS deployments.
- Experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise ArcGIS or other comparable IT systems including desktop, server, and online environments.
- Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, PowerShell, Javascript, or C.
- Familiarity with network concepts and topics such as domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, and load-balancing.
- Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- US citizenship with Active or Current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility within the last 2 years.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a STEM-related field.
