Job Description

A Sr. Product Test Engineer at Esri will design and implement automated testing frameworks for ArcGIS Enterprise, collaborate with development teams to ensure software quality, and analyze test results to deliver reliable GIS software products.

Key Responsibilities

Set the scope, vision, and priorities for the test automation team based on software quality needs
Collaborate with product engineers and developers to define automated test strategies for ArcGIS Enterprise
Design, scope, and implement automated test cases in collaboration with feature teams
Monitor, analyze, and communicate test results to ensure software quality and release readiness
Document, track, and triage software issues identified during testing
Reproduce customer-reported bugs and work with developers to resolve them

Requirements

Five years of software testing experience and execution of automated tests such as Selenium or related tools.
Experience using an application development language, such as Java, C, or Python.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS platform technologies.
Self-motivated team player with an interest in continuous learning and building software products.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of manual and automated testing practices for functional, regression, and performance scenarios.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, geography, GIS, mathematics, or a related field.
