Job Description
The role involves developing and implementing GIS data management solutions within Esri’s software products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance spatial data capabilities, and ensuring quality and innovation in GIS data management tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate user requirements into development objectives for GIS data management solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and release ArcGIS data management functionalities related to enterprise geodatabases and services.
- Drive the planning, quality assurance, certification, and deployment of GIS data management features.
- Create documentation to communicate complex technology to users.
- Assess product quality and readiness for release.
- Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies and patterns into existing software.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience designing, developing, and or implementing solutions using ArcGIS software
- Experience using an application development language, such as C , Java, C , or Python
- Strong DBMS expertise in a commercial RDBMS
- Bachelor's degree in geography, GIS, computer science, engineering, or related fields
