Job Description
This role involves designing and improving Esri's digital commerce platform, focusing on creating user-centered web and mobile experiences for internal and external stakeholders, in collaboration with a team of product designers and cross-functional partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and promote on-brand visuals for Esri's online store and digital commerce platform.
- Create user-centered web solutions by synthesizing creative briefs, wireframes, and feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, writers, developers, and stakeholders to develop product and marketing designs.
- Balance user experience principles with business goals to enhance digital experiences that impact revenue.
- Stay current with web design trends and technologies to inform design practices.
Requirements
- Five years of experience designing web and mobile interfaces.
- Two years of experience designing ecommerce experiences, reflected in the applicant's portfolio.
- Strong skills with design software, including but not limited to Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiarity with user research in all its forms, and a well-honed sense of what method is most appropriate to answer the questions at hand.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a highly collaborative Agile team, listen effectively, and respect others while offering and receiving constructive feedback.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including workshop facilitation and presenting to large audiences.
- A strong portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, elegant design solutions, and measurable impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in interaction design, information science, or another related design discipline.
