Job Description
A GIS subject matter expert responsible for developing innovative GIS solutions, supporting sales and technical consulting, and demonstrating the value of Esri's GIS technology to federal law enforcement clients through presentations, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and support the sale of Esri software and solutions to customers
- Lead technical meetings with enterprise decision makers to drive revenue
- Serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert in GIS and Federal Law Enforcement
- Develop complex GIS solutions aligned with customer business needs
- Design and deliver technical presentations for diverse audiences
- Support and coach team members on GIS best practices
- Troubleshoot client issues related to Esri applications and system architecture
- Support integration of GIS solutions with other business systems and data platforms
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting the Federal Law Enforcement community.
- Broad knowledge of ArcGIS from an IT context such as hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing.
- Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design.
- Understanding of sales and business development processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment and system architecture.
- Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments, specifically Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Experience integrating software solutions with other business systems including data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms.
- Programming and scripting experience with languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, data science, criminology, or a related field.
