Job Description
This role involves serving as a subject matter expert in GIS and AEC industries, advising customers on complex technical solutions, demonstrating the value of GIS technology, and leading technical presentations and consultations to address business challenges using Esri's software and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and support the sale of Esri software and solutions
- Lead technical meetings with enterprise decision makers to drive revenue
- Serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert in Esri technology and the AEC industry
- Develop complex GIS solutions aligned with customer business needs
- Design and deliver technical presentations for diverse audiences
- Provide configuration guidance and best practices for Esri solutions
- Troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment and system architecture
- Share knowledge and coach team members on GIS best practices
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications
- 3 years of experience in AEC across the Europe region
- Broad knowledge of ArcGIS from an IT context such as hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing
- Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design
- Understanding of sales and business development processes
- Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment and system architecture
- Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments including Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Experience integrating software solutions with other business systems including data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms
- Programming and scripting experience with languages such as Python and JavaScript
- Remarkable presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, or a related field
