Job Description
This role involves managing federal government accounts by leveraging geospatial technology to develop strategic solutions, build relationships, and drive business growth within the USDA, while providing expertise in GIS and enterprise systems to support organizational missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations
- Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers
- Understand customer needs, industry relevance, and key stakeholders
- Use solution selling to address customer challenges and demonstrate the value of Esri technology
- Execute account management and sales processes to meet opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies
- Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri solutions
- Research industry trends and pursue professional development to anticipate customer needs
Requirements
- 8 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
- 5 years of experience working in or supporting the federal government
- Experience creating partnerships, and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
- Understanding of account management, account planning and opportunity strategy creation
- Demonstrated knowledge of the federal government, USDA, and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
- Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
- Ability to travel domestically 25-50%
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S (Visa sponsorship is not available)
- Must be motivated and resourceful and take initiative to resolve issues

Base salary range of $141,440 to $249,600 USD
