Job Description
This role involves working with clients to develop and implement geospatial solutions, primarily using Esri's GIS technology, with a focus on maritime charting and hydrographic data management, supporting national and international organizations in enhancing their geospatial capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with clients to define geospatial solutions and oversee their implementation
- Lead all phases of GIS project implementation, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, configuration, and deployment
- Translate customer business goals into practical GIS technology solutions
- Recommend strategies, architectures, and solutions tailored to customer needs
- Support maritime clients in modernizing hydrographic data management and nautical charting workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop new business opportunities and shape product development
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk through planning and tracking
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and distributors
Requirements
- 8 years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
- Professional experience leading and managing IT based projects
- Experience supporting maritime customers and knowledge of maritime products and specifications including S-57 and S-100
- Demonstrated ability to translate a customer s business goals, objectives, and strategies into solutions
- Ability to gather requirements, develop project plans, estimate levels of effort, manage project budgets and schedules
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical peers or customers
- Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to learn
- Applicants selected will be subjected to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including US citizenship, willingness and ability to maintain a US Security Clearance, and potentially a Top Secret (TS) or TS SCI clearance
- Bachelor s degree in geography, computer science, GIS, information systems, environmental science, natural resources, or a related STEM field

Base salary range of $104,000 to $177,840 USD
