Job Description
A geospatial solutions consultant responsible for leading the implementation of Esri's GIS technology for maritime and national mapping clients, translating business needs into technical solutions, and supporting modernization efforts in hydrographic data management and nautical charting.
Key Responsibilities
- Define geospatial solutions and oversee their implementation for clients
- Lead all project phases including requirements gathering, analysis, design, configuration, and deployment
- Translate customer business goals into GIS technology-driven solutions
- Support maritime clients with hydrographic data management, feature data production, quality control, and nautical charting workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop new business opportunities and shape product development
- Manage project scope, schedule, costs, quality, and risks
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and distributors
Requirements
- Eight (8) years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities.
- Professional experience leading and managing IT-based projects.
- Experience supporting maritime customers and knowledge of maritime products and specifications including S-57 and S-100.
- Demonstrated ability to translate a customer’s business goals, objectives, and strategies into solutions.
- Ability to gather requirements, develop project plans, estimate levels of effort, manage project budgets and schedules.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical peers or customers.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to learn.
- Applicants must be US citizens and willing and able to maintain a US Security Clearance, including potentially obtaining a Top Secret (TS) clearance or Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS SCI) clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, GIS, information systems, environmental science, natural resources, or a related STEM field.

Base salary range of $104,000 to $177,840 USD
