Job Description
A Software Engineer responsible for developing scalable web services and APIs for Esri's ArcGIS Online platform, utilizing C# and .NET, and working with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and web protocols to deliver innovative GIS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create web services components following industry-standard design patterns and deployment models
- Design and develop scalable APIs for the ArcGIS platform
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality software delivery
Requirements
- Five years of software development experience in C and .NET
- Deep understanding of the web and protocols
- Working knowledge of SQL with experience in ASP.NET and Entity Framework
- Knowledge of cloud platforms Azure, Amazon Web Services, and NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with RESTful web services, distributed systems, and cloud computing
- Experience with IIS Internet Information Services web server software packages
- Knowledge of agile software development methodologies Scrum
- Good communication skills to effectively convey technical challenges and discuss solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related technology field
