Job Description
A senior business development manager at Esri is responsible for collaborating with distributors to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geographic information system technology, driving strategic growth, building partnerships, and engaging with key stakeholders across the Europe region.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with distributors to co-sell and promote Esri technology.
- Identify new growth opportunities and expand adoption of Esri solutions.
- Articulate business value and negotiate with customers and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with customers and distributors.
- Lead executive reviews to finalize enterprise agreements.
- Research and displace competitors through industry knowledge and strategic insights.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of successfully supporting the needs of gathering and designing technical specifications to solve a customer s needs.
- Experience selling enterprise software solutions directly and through a channel.
- Expertise in negotiation and strategic engagements.
- Advanced storytelling skills and experience presenting at conferences and executive level engagements.
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and translate it into solutions that address customer needs.
- Mastery of English and other languages as needed, both verbal and written.
- Ability to travel globally 25-50%.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and national security as they relate to one another.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
