Job Description
A senior business development manager at Esri collaborates with distributors to promote and expand the adoption of GIS technology within the European region, focusing on national defense, intelligence, and security agencies through strategic sales, partnerships, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with distributors to co-sell and promote Esri technology in the European region.
- Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth within the market segments.
- Present, negotiate, and articulate the business value of Esri solutions to customers and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with customers and distributors.
- Lead executive reviews to finalize enterprise agreements with distributors.
- Support and mentor team members, sharing industry knowledge and strategies.
- Develop strategic plans for regional growth based on product and market insights.
Requirements
- 5 years of successfully supporting the needs of gathering and designing technical specifications to solve a customer’s needs
- Experience selling enterprise software solutions directly and through a channel
- Expert in negotiation and strategic engagements
- Advanced storytelling skills and experience presenting at conferences and executive level engagements
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and translate it into solutions that address customer needs
- Mastery of English and other languages as needed, both verbal and written
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and national security as they relate to one another
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field
- Job based in Rotterdam, Netherlands
- Ability to travel globally 25-50%
