Job Description
A senior business development manager at Esri is responsible for collaborating with distributors and partners to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geographic information system technology, driving growth through strategic engagement, partnership building, and solution sales across various industries and regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with distributors and partners to co-sell and promote Esri technology.
- Identify new growth opportunities and expand adoption of Esri solutions.
- Articulate business value and create a sales pipeline within various market segments.
- Build and nurture long-term partnerships with customers and distributors.
- Lead negotiations and finalize enterprise agreements with distributors.
- Present, speak, and negotiate with executives and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate expertise in GIS technology, product components, and application value propositions.
- Support and mentor team members and facilitate impactful client and distributor meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of successfully supporting the needs of gathering and designing technical specifications to solve a customer’s needs.
- Experience selling enterprise software solutions directly and through a channel.
- Expertise in negotiation and strategic engagements.
- Advanced storytelling skills and experience presenting at conferences and executive level engagements.
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and translate it into solutions that address customer needs.
- Mastery of English and other languages as needed, both verbal and written.
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and various industries as they relate to one another.
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field.
- Ability to travel globally 25-50%.
