Job Description
The Business Analyst - Payroll is responsible for managing and prioritizing payroll and HR system requests, collaborating with various teams to improve business processes, and supporting system configurations and upgrades within the HRIS Dayforce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize work requests for HRIS Dayforce Payroll and Benefits teams
- Gather, document, and manage requirements for system configuration changes and enhancements
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and other teams on system initiatives and process improvements
- Generate reports for stakeholders using reporting tools
- Manage and coordinate system upgrades and change procedures
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, change history, and procedures
- Train and oversee team efforts to meet objectives
- Liaise with business units to implement system changes and stay updated on system updates
Requirements
- Five years of experience processing payroll on a major HCM platform, with two years of HCM Payroll system configuration experience.
- End to end implementation experience of a major HCM Payroll SaaS solution.
- Experience working in a corporate environment promoting a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize to meet competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability in streamlining processes to improve effectiveness.
- Experience in translating and communicating complex topics in a variety of forums for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, problem solving, and influence.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, HR, IT, or any closely related field.
