Job Description
A Software Developer specializing in geospatial analysis and web-based geoprocessing tools, responsible for developing, enhancing, and troubleshooting analysis frameworks across desktop, online, and enterprise environments to ensure performance, scalability, and user-friendly experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scripts to execute geoprocessing tools across various environments
- Enhance web analysis framework to support diverse data sources and improve user experience
- Expand and troubleshoot Python and C geoprocessing tools in web-based environments
- Improve ArcGIS Server and Geoprocessing framework to handle web-client requests
- Optimize workflows for deploying analysis frameworks and monitoring performance
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Python programming.
- Experience in C or other object-oriented programming languages such as C or Java.
- Knowledge of various Python modules such as arcpy, pandas, requests, and pytest.
- Proficiency in web backend development, including implementation of RESTful APIs.
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
