Job Description
The role involves developing GIS software solutions using Esri products and APIs, including tasks such as coding, designing, testing, and maintaining software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying current with emerging technologies in the GIS field.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop ArcGIS software products by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Define, implement, maintain, and document software architecture, algorithms, and data structures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify software requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards
- Maintain and update code in shared repositories
- Analyze and fix software defects and bugs
- Develop and execute automated test plans to ensure software quality
- Plan and manage software development projects following relevant methodologies
- Stay current with emerging technologies, deployment models, and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Engineering, GIS, or a related field
- Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation
- Demonstrated experience in C++, C#, WPF, Python, SQL, and Agile methodologies

Base salary range of $165,214 to $175,000 USD
