Job Description
A leadership role focused on managing and mentoring a sales team to promote and expand the adoption of Esri's geospatial technology, building strategic customer relationships, and driving complex sales solutions within the commercial industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales activities of the team throughout all stages of the account management process.
- Mentor and coach team members to improve performance and achieve sales objectives.
- Develop and implement location strategies for large, complex organizations to expand customer adoption of Esri technology.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of ArcGIS and its value to the commercial industry.
- Research industry trends and continuously develop professional expertise in GIS and Esri technology.
- Plan and execute negotiations with customers to close sales opportunities.
- Drive the sales cycle to meet or exceed sector growth and revenue goals.
Requirements
- 8 years of enterprise sales and or relevant consulting or program management experience
- 3 years of experience mentoring, motivating, and coaching on a team
- Ability to build compelling account growth strategies
- Advanced knowledge of the commercial industry and new technology trends, and the ability to translate this into complex solutions for customers
- Deep understanding of GIS and Esri technology
- Expert visual storyteller and negotiator across all levels of an organization
- Knowledge of the fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally up to 50% of the time
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, or a related field

Base salary range estimated between $114,400 and $197,600 USD
