Job Description

The production coordinator manages all aspects of print production, including planning, design, fabrication, and vendor coordination, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective results while meeting critical deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal departments and external vendors throughout the production process
  • Create printing, assembly, and manufacturing specifications and prototypes
  • Manage production schedules, resources, and logistics for projects
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely procurement of supplies and materials
  • Conduct quality inspections and report on production quality
  • Maintain and improve production processes in collaboration with the Production Manager
  • Utilize enterprise applications like SAP and Workfront to track job progress

Requirements

  • Five years of experience in a print production environment and working with outside vendors.
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs.
  • Capable of working in high-level production activity with critical timelines supporting large conference events.
  • Professional, detail-oriented, self-starter, capable of working with limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills including phone, business e-mail, and video conferencing.
  • Ability to interface with other employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
