Job Description
A product management role focused on developing, supporting, and promoting Esri's imagery and remote sensing products, involving customer engagement, product lifecycle management, and collaboration with various teams to meet market needs and drive product success.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and share customer requirements with the development team to prioritize the product roadmap and release timelines
- Communicate the product roadmap and release timelines to stakeholders
- Lead and support customer product briefings and gather requirements
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to meet market requirements
- Represent Esri imagery and remote sensing capabilities at conferences and on social media
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies with partners and industry stakeholders
- Work with Product Marketing to craft messaging that creates demand for ArcGIS products
- Ensure internal launch readiness for product updates across sales, support, and training teams
- Establish feedback loops with partners, distributors, and marketing to meet customer needs
- Contribute to customer-facing resources such as website content, marketing materials, and presentations
- Track and analyze key business KPIs to assess product health
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a product role such as product management, engineering, development, or support.
- Understanding of current methods and emerging technologies in the imagery and remote sensing field.
- Experience in gathering and interpreting qualitative product data and consumer feedback.
- Ability to identify improved product features and contribute to marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in compiling project status, risk management, and marketing reports.
- Ability to maintain strong customer relations and provide product support.
- Competency in training sales teams on new product features and a product s core value.
- Ability to work well with remote management and staff across various Esri departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, creative, and team-oriented.
- Willingness to travel 10-20% for strategic meetings, events, and tradeshows.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field or in business.
