Job Description
This role involves managing and developing geospatial aviation products within Esri, working closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to gather requirements, communicate product roadmaps, and support market strategies in the airports and aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and communicate customer usage and problems with the product
- Gather and prioritize customer requirements for product development
- Collaborate with teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
- Support product launches and ensure internal readiness
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and support critical projects
- Represent the product as an expert in presentations and on social media
- Coordinate with marketing and business development to create demand and messaging for products
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities such as product management, product development, product testing, software release, user assistance, software configuration, or product marketing.
- Professional experience supporting commercial software development and release, including supporting technology innovation through aligning software capabilities with market opportunities.
- Ability to effectively document and verbally communicate market requirements to development staff.
- Proven experience supporting technology innovation through aligning software capabilities with market opportunities.
- Experience in airports, aviation, aviation charting, or related fields.
- Ability to cultivate strategic relationships with customers and partners.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
