Job Description
A product management role focused on developing and supporting geospatial mapping and analytics solutions for airports and aviation, involving customer interaction, requirements gathering, product development collaboration, and market strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and communicate customer usage and problems with the product
- Gather and prioritize customer requirements for product development
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
- Support product launches and ensure readiness across teams
- Represent the product as an expert in customer interactions and industry events
- Develop messaging to create demand for aviation GIS products
- Meet with key customers to understand their needs and support critical projects
- Lead customer briefings, conference presentations, and social media representation
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position supporting responsibilities such as product management, product development, product testing, software release, user assistance, software configuration, or product marketing.
- Professional experience supporting commercial software development and release, including tasks such as supporting product management, product development, product testing, software release, user assistance, software configuration, or product marketing.
- Capability to effectively document and verbally communicate market requirements to development staff.
- Proven experience supporting technology innovation by aligning software capabilities with market opportunities.
- Experience in airports, aviation, aviation charting, or related fields.
- Ability to cultivate strategic relationships with customers and partners.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
