Job Description
A product management role focused on leading the development and strategy of ArcGIS Instant Apps, a web-based GIS application, with an emphasis on integrating AI features, understanding customer needs, and collaborating across teams to enhance geospatial technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the product vision, strategy, and priorities for ArcGIS Instant Apps and AI features.
- Monitor and synthesize customer requirements, prioritize them, and communicate with the development team.
- Document customer interviews and product requirements in alignment with product management processes.
- Maintain expert knowledge of current capabilities, technology, market demand, and competition.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing on marketing materials, product launches, and communication strategies.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in partnership with global business development and distributors.
- Develop and present demonstrations and messaging to strategic customers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical or product-related role such as product management, product engineering, technical support, or sales engineering.
- Effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and in presentations.
- Active listening skills and curiosity about others' work, experience, and perspective.
- Ability to accurately translate customers' business needs, technical needs, and existing workflows into actionable requirements and problems-to-solve.
- Passion for continuous improvement.
- Patience to work within a dynamic working environment.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations by relying on professional judgment without direct oversight.
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time to customer sites, conferences, trade shows, and other strategic meetings and events.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field or business.
