Job Description
Join the ArcGIS Data Pipelines team to develop, test, and release innovative data preparation and ingestion tools for enterprise and cloud users, focusing on creating user-friendly software and ensuring high quality through testing and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product engineers and developers to create user-friendly, high-performance software tools.
- Gather and advocate for user requirements during the design process.
- Design, develop, and maintain test cases to ensure software quality and performance.
- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report findings.
- Design user interfaces, controls, and pages for new tools.
- Create and present resources such as samples and blogs to demonstrate new capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with Python or other scripting languages
- At least 2 years of experience combining and preparing data from different data sources
- Familiarity with web analysis experiences like ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise
- Confident verbal communicator comfortable giving in-person and online presentations to groups of colleagues or the user community
- Ability to manage priorities and tasks as needed in a fast-paced agile software development environment
- Self-motivated and inquisitive, willing to ask questions and chase new ideas
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, data analysis or a related field
