Job Description
The Software Reliability Engineer at Esri is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and disaster recovery capabilities of ArcGIS Enterprise by gathering user requirements, leading cross-team efforts, testing software, and providing documentation and support to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and define software reliability and availability requirements from users and internal teams
- Lead cross-team efforts to implement reliability features across all functionalities
- Create, automate, and evaluate test plans to ensure software quality and reliability
- Document and present information to users through documentation, videos, and presentations
Requirements
- 2 to 6 years of experience in a position with operational responsibilities, such as monitoring, maintaining, and deploying enterprise software
- Experience in software testing
- Fundamental understanding of web services, such as REST and others
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a complex backend-server stack, preferably with ArcGIS Enterprise
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science and applications, math, GIS, geography, or a related field
- Existing work authorization for India
