Job Description
This role involves developing, troubleshooting, and supporting geospatial web tools and services using ArcGIS products, with a focus on automation, performance, and user documentation, within a dynamic software development environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot issues related to publishing and running web tools, ModelBuilder models, and Python scripts in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise
- Become a geoprocessing services and ArcGIS Enterprise technology expert to assist users in sharing analysis tools as services
- Coordinate requirements from multiple sources, communicate them to the team, and help make development decisions
- Collaborate with teammates to build user-friendly, high-performance software that produces accurate results or meaningful errors
- Design, write, and maintain automated test cases in Python and C to ensure software quality and performance
- Analyze testing results and report pass/fail status in a timely manner
- Create help documentation to assist users in understanding software capabilities and troubleshooting
- Develop supplemental educational materials such as sample services, tutorials, blogs, and videos
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, GIS, or a related field
- Two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or two (2) years of experience in a related occupation
- Demonstrated experience in ArcGIS, REST, Git, SQL Server, Oracle, AWS, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, and Python, Javascript or HTML
