Job Description
This role involves designing, implementing, and automating performance testing for geospatial routing services on AWS, collaborating with development teams to analyze results and optimize system performance in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated tests for performance, durability, scalability, and reliability of routing services on AWS cloud
- Create tools and scripts to automate provisioning of load test environments in AWS
- Analyze test runs to identify performance anomalies
- Collaborate with engineers to describe anomalies, communicate steps, and verify fixes
- Orchestrate performance tests using Jenkins pipelines
- Maintain dashboards to communicate test results to development and management teams
- Provide guidance on capacity planning and system provisioning for customers deploying web services
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in GIS, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- One 1 year of experience in the job offered, or one 1 year of experience in a related occupation
- Demonstrated experience in Apache JMeter, Python, Jenkins, and Amazon Web Services
