Join various work areas within the Product Operations Department, encompassing Order Processing, Inventory Control, and Production, engaging in diverse material handling processes.
Key Responsibilities
Engage in diverse transactional tasks, following instructions meticulously to meet set plans, guidelines, and timelines
Handle materials across multiple functional areas, utilizing equipment like forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks. Prepare and affix labels and documentation to packages, shipments, or pallets as needed
Aid in truck loading and unloading, ensuring proper staging of finished goods in designated areas
Assemble products or materials independently or within a team, following Assembly Instructions, Drawings, Bills of Material, or verbal guidance
Pick and pack materials based on Transfer Order instructions
Generate pick tickets/transfer orders from the SAP S/4 HANA system, coordinating with Customer Service for order creation and troubleshooting
Administer operational programs such as cycle counts, ShipDesk metrics, and reporting for inventory and product management
Conduct cycle counts to uphold inventory accuracy
Enter data accurately into various Esri computer systems using software applications like SAP, SharePoint, and MS Office
Utilize a computer scanner to archive paperwork into the SAP ERP system
Maintain effective written and verbal communication for timely updates and follow-ups
Monitor supply consumption and maintain a clean work environment
Undertake additional tasks as assigned by Supervisors or Managers
Requirements
2+ years of experience in shipping, order picking, inventory control, or production assembly
Proficiency in computer usage, including email, scanners, and network systems, with clerical skills like data entry, typing, filing, copying, and email management
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Capable of working under pressure and meeting daily deadlines
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a warehouse environment
Familiarity with computer-based inventory, material transfers, and warehousing procedures
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on action and results
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with forklifts/stock pickers and possession of current or previous California OSHA Forklift Certification
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Familiarity with domestic and international shipping terminology, carriers, and carrier manifest equipment
