Key Responsibilities
Build modern Python and Jenkins automation tools that follow industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models
Create modern web-based applications with C# and Microsoft .NET framework, incorporating both front-end and back-end web development
Maintain SQL databases to ensure high performance and security of stored data
Collaborate with other engineers throughout the development process
Design, develop, and test applications and APIs
Articulate and solve problems related to application design, development, and user experiences
Use test tools such as Selenium to improve our workflows
Make an impact by consistently looking for ways to improve our design, development, testing, and release processes for thousands of global customers that use ArcGIS, our industry-leading software
Requirements
1+ years of applied experience using Python
Knowledge of, or experience in, the software development process and software release cycle
Driven and adaptable with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
Experience with C#, Java, and Groovy
Experience with IDEs, compilers, and development tools for one or more of Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, or Android
Experience with SQL database management
Experience with REST or SOAP web services
Knowledge of Jenkins and Git
Experience working with international teams and customers
Knowledge of software localization (l10n), internationalization (i18n), or globalization (g11n)
