Job Description
This role involves managing mobile device deployment, maintenance, and auditing while serving as a liaison between customers, the IST division, and corporate. The position includes procurement, inventory management, device setup, troubleshooting, and supporting IT asset management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for mobile device deployments within the IST division
- Create purchase orders and coordinate with telecom vendors during procurement
- Manage in-house inventory of mobile devices for deployment
- Ensure proper assignment and tracking of devices as part of IT Asset Management
- Assist colleagues with device setup, application installation, and troubleshooting
Requirements
- One year of relevant experience in mobile device deployment, maintenance, or related IT functions.
- Superior customer service skills, excellent organizational skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with IT equipment lifecycle including procurement, deployment, and retirement.
- Possess independent problem solving and self-direction skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
