Job Description

Lead and develop Esri's commercial industry solutions team to drive market expansion, strategic planning, and thought leadership in geospatial technology across various industries, while managing client relationships and supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of market expansion strategies for the commercial industries sector.
  • Identify growth opportunities and support strategic partnerships across key market sectors.
  • Develop industry-specific go-to-market strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct sector-wide research, analyze industry trends, and monitor technological advancements.
  • Create and deliver thought leadership content such as webinars, case studies, and presentations to demonstrate ArcGIS value.
  • Cultivate relationships with industry analysts, associations, and influencers to enhance market presence.
  • Support enterprise account strategies and complex deal cycles as a subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop industry-specific campaigns, messaging, and sales enablement content.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in strategy and market development, working in commercial industries with deep domain expertise in the positioning and application of enterprise technology
  • Bachelor's degree in business, geography or similar field
  • 5 years of deep industry expertise in one or more target industries and/or executive buyer segments such as operations, risk, sales, or marketing
  • 5 years of people management experience, including building and leading teams of up to 10 professionals
  • Understanding of enterprise IT decision-making processes, procurement cycles, and technical evaluation criteria
  • Demonstrated geospatial innovation and advanced use of software technology experience with digital transformation initiatives and emerging technologies such as AI, ML, IoT, cloud computing, and digital twin
  • 5 years of experience working in multi-discipline teams with proven ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence business and technical audiences
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to both business and IT audiences, bridging the gap between technology capabilities and business outcomes
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing purpose and tactics, with a collaborative approach and proven ability to work across functional teams
  • Exceptional leadership skills with proven ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams, including success in talent development, team building, and organizational leadership
  • Self-motivated with excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills
