Job Description
The Industry Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns to promote Esri's GIS solutions within the state and local government sector, building community engagement, managing content and events, analyzing campaign performance, and collaborating with partners and stakeholders to increase market presence and influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns across multiple channels to increase revenue and market share within the state and local government sector.
- Create campaign assets, including messaging, print collateral, and digital content, in collaboration with creative resources.
- Contribute to and support third-party and Esri-hosted events by developing messaging, content, and managing logistics.
- Manage campaign projects to ensure timely delivery within budget, coordinating multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
- Track and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools to optimize engagement and effectiveness.
- Utilize marketing technologies to manage activities such as audience segmentation, email campaigns, advertising, webpage creation, and analytics tracking.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers to understand needs, promote best practices, and increase market presence.
- Foster a vibrant user community through activities like user groups, meetups, online forums, and events to encourage dialogue and advocacy.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of marketing or related business experience.
- Proven skills in time management, resource management, and project management.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts with a positive attitude.
- Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to travel up to 20% during peak marketing periods.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, geography, GIS, or a related field.
